FIC Clinches Internet Deal for Walking Dead in Russia

CANNES: Fox International Channels (FIC) and Tvigle Media have made a deal to bring the second season of The Walking Dead to Russian Internet viewers following the local premiere on Fox Crime on October 17.

 

The second season of The Walking Dead will be shown on tvigle.ru and its partners’ networks on an ad-supported VOD basis. Tvigle will also make the first season available two weeks prior to the new season launch.
 
FIC owns the rights for AMC’s The Walking Dead in all markets outside of North America, tapping Entertainment One to handle broadcast TV rights and digital/DVD rights in all international territories. The Walking Dead is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, who also serves as an executive producer.
