LONDON: Inspired by the Vuguru drama The Booth at the End, The Deal is a brand-new social game created exclusively for Facebook by Two Way Media and Fox International Channels (FIC).

The narrative-led game features the premise of the TV series, which is produced by Michael Eisner’s Vuguru and is distributed by Content Digital. The aim is to complete tasks set by "The Man" in order to fulfill desires. The players can collect items to receive rewards and answer daily dilemmas to test their moral values. Players can also interact with each other through messaging and chat to complete tasks and discuss dilemmas. The Deal is Two Way Media’s latest digital project with FIC. Previous projects include interactive voting and competition services for ITV’s hit shows The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent; and Suzi Perry’s HeliGolf featured on The Gadget Show on Channel 5.

James Turner, the chief executive of Two Way Media, said: “We’re very excited to be involved in The Booth at the End. It’s a fantastic idea that has given us the opportunity to create a unique game. The Deal is a truly social game that has a strong narrative at its core. It allows players to immerse themselves within the story and help others along the way.”

Dario D’Aprile, the VP of global online publishing at FIC, added: “The Booth at the End has proven to be a highly anticipated new digital series that lends itself to multiplatform services. Featuring an intriguing and globally relevant premise, the series, in its various formats, is perfectly adaptable content for FIC. Two Way Media has executed this perfectly in The Deal, giving fans the chance to engage with the show on new and different level.”
