FCCE Signs Latin American Agent

AMSTERDAM/NEW YORK: Bender Media Services will now represent Film Content Company Europe’s (FCCE) library in the Latin American market, and will present its portfolio to buyers at the upcoming LA Screenings.

The FCCE media archives contain more than 10,000 hours of Hollywood- and film-related video footage. Its content has been licensed to the likes of RTL, SBS, Viasat, Fox Broadcasting, HBO, Showtime Arabia, Astro Asian Networks, MTV, Nickelodeon and MSN. Headquartered in New York, Bender Media Services represents the Latin American distribution for a number of television producers in all key categories, including lifestyle, entertainment, reality, extreme sports, beauty and animation.

FCCE’s chief commercial officer, Justus A.G. Verkerk, said: "We are confident Susan Bender and her team will represent our product in the most professional and dedicated manner imaginable, offering the content and programming to all available platforms in the Latin American market. BMS adds major additional value to our international sales team and further opens the door to a new market. With this expansion we are looking forward to gain a strong local presence. Previously, the Latin American territories remained mostly untapped by FCCE. Our flagship program Films and Stars for example, already on air in more than 50 countries, is not yet being broadcast in this region! Following our successful expansion into the Asia-Pacific region last year we believe this new venture will enable us to much better fulfil demand and gain a better share of the local market."

Susan Bender, the CEO of Bender Media Services, added: "The FCCE Content library, the weekly programming like Film and Stars, Hollywood Buzz, Kids Flix, Action Zone and the daily Entertainment News feed all are very informative and certainly present an excellent conceptual opportunity for the Latin American region. Our clients are always looking for high-quality content at an affordable price—that’s where we come in! We are delighted to have formed a wonderful association with FCCE and to be working with such a diverse catalogue. In the coming weeks, the fcce.tv website and promos will become available in Spanish."
