Ex-NBC Exec Joins FOX

LOS ANGELES, July 10: Kevin Reilly, recently ousted as
president of entertainment at NBC, has taken on the same position at FOX, with
Peter Liguori being elevated to chairman of entertainment.

Announcing the restructure, Peter Chernin, the president and
COO of News Corporation, noted: “The television industry has changed more in
the last five years than in the past 20. We need to be structured in a way that
puts us in the best position to take advantage of the myriad new opportunities
digital technology has afforded the broadcast television business.”

Liguori was president and CEO of FX when Reilly was
entertainment president at the News Corp.-owned cable network, prior to his
move to NBC. Chernin noted: “When Peter Liguori approached me with the idea of
re-teaming with Kevin Reilly, I thought it was a bold move to redefine the
structure of the network behind a pair of dynamic executives who have a proven
track record of advancing the medium.”

Reilly will report to Liguori, who in his new role as
chairman will expand his duties to developing new models for FOX broadcast
content to best leverage the brands across all emerging platforms. He has been
president of entertainment for FOX since March 2005.
