ESS Renews TNA Wrestling Partnership

SINGAPORE, August 14: A
new-long term contract has secured ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) as the exclusive
broadcaster of TNA Wrestling content across the Indian subcontinent, covering
TV, mobile and Internet platforms.

Beginning in September,
ESS will showcase a lineup of programming from TNA iMPACT! and TNA
Xplosion
each week, along with
special monthly events, to viewers across India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka,
Bangladesh, Bhutan and Maldives. ESS will also air a range of TNA Wrestling
original programming custom-produced for the subcontinent.

ESS
and TNA have plans to launch promotional tours across the region, with special
consumer contests where winners will be flown to Universal Studios in Orlando,
Florida, to watch the wrestling action live.

Manu Sawhney, the managing
director of ESPN STAR Sports, said: “We are delighted to further extend our
partnership with TNA Wrestling. Through our entertaining programming and
innovative promotional efforts we continue to build TNA Wrestling in the Indian
