ESPN STAR Sports to Deliver Live Mobile Content

SINGAPORE: ESPN STAR Sports has partnered with SpeedCast to deliver live premium mobile sports content across Asia.

mobileESPN will feature live streaming content from the ESPN STAR Sports TV networks, delivered via satellite to operators’ streaming platforms across the region. SpeedCast has been tapped to provide technical services, using the provider’s MobiCast platform to stream live sports events such as the FIA Formula One, MotoGP and the English FA Cup. SpeedCast will provide the channel downlink, live encoding and delivery systems, as well as 24-hour monitoring and operations out of its Network Operations Centre and teleport facilities in Hong Kong.
