ER Taps Former Ragdoll Exec for Marketing, Consumer Products Role

LONDON, February 11: Entertainment Rights (ER) has appointed
Andrew Kerr as the executive director of consumer products and marketing for
its international operations, effective March 26.

Kerr will report to Jane Smith, ER’s chief commercial and
creative director. In his newly created position, Kerr will be responsible for
further developing and overseeing the group’s commercial strategy for ER’s
brand and content portfolio across the U.K. and international territories
(excluding the U.S. and Canada). Furthermore, Kerr will align ER’s U.K. and
international licensing, marketing and brands divisions, aimed at creating a
cohesive approach to brand exploitation. Kerr will also work closely with the
U.S. senior management team to implement a global brand strategy, working in collaboration
with the TV, home entertainment and digital teams.

Most recently, Kerr was the executive VP of global licensing
and marketing for Ragdoll Worldwide, where he was responsible for the key
properties Teletubbies, In the Night Garden, Brum and Boohbah.

Smith
