ER Secures New Deals for Core Brands

LONDON, September 4:
Entertainment Rights (ER) has signed a number of new broadcasters for George
of the Jungle
, Finley the Fire
Engine
and Casper’s Scare
School
, spanning Europe, Latin America and the Asia
Pacific.

George of the Jungle now heads to Nickelodeon (Spain), TV Globo
(Brazil), Cadena Ecuatoriana (Ecuador), MBC (the Middle East), Alter Channel
(Greece), TV4 (Sweden), Noga TV (Israel), Modern Times (Greece), Leader Music
(Latin America), Mega (Chile) and America TV (Peru). The show previously
launched on Nickelodeon (U.K.), Cartoon Network (U.S.), Disney Channel (Latin
America), France 3 and 5 and Super RTL (Germany).

and DQ Entertainment, Casper’s Scare School has closed a new raft of sales that includes
Cartoon Network (Asia Pacific), TSR (Switzerland), Luis Foes (Portugal),
Cartoon Network (Latin America), HVN (Singapore) and ZDF, Ki.Ka and Cartoon
Network (Germany). These deals complement existing arrangements with TF1
(France) and Cartoon Network (U.K.).

Finley the Fire Engine has found a new home on National Geographic (Latin
America), Disney (Australia), ECTV (Ecuador), Telemundo (Puerto Rico), Luis
Foes (Portugal) and Spacetoon (Indonesia). The preschool series made its debut
on CBeebies last summer and has sold into more than 90 territories.

Chloe van den Berg, ER’s executive director of international,
