eOne Television Hires for Global Production Team

TORONTO/LOS ANGELES/LONDON: Carrie Stein is taking on the role of executive VP of global production at Entertainment One (eOne) Television, to be based at the company’s Los Angeles office.

Stein reports to John Morayniss, the CEO of eOne Television. She will work closely with the company’s TV divisions to source and package TV properties as well as identify strategic partnerships.

Stein will be working closely with Peter Emerson, the president of eOne Television International, to strike up relationships with global producers and broadcasters and seek out international co-production opportunities and find financing for new and existing projects. Stein will also be liaising with Margaret O’Brien, the president of eOne Television Canada, through creative input and packaging to bolster the sale of Canadian projects as well as on in-house productions and those developed and produced with third parties. With Michael Rosenberg, the executive VP of U.S. scripted television at the company, and his creative team in Los Angeles, Stein will assist and support in packaging, financing and pre-selling projects. Her appointment is effective July 2.
