eOne Sells Rights to The Firm for French-Speaking Europe

CANNES: AB Droits Audiovisuels has purchased the rights for the drama The Firm from Entertainment One (eOne) for French-speaking Europe.

AB International Distribution will handle sales on the series, a co-production of eOne Television, Global, NBC and Sony Pictures Television Networks’ AXN channel. In addition, a first negotiation deal has been inked for eOne’s next three original one-hour series.

Richard Maroko, AB Groupe’s executive VP of programs, said: “This is a great opportunity for AB Droits Audiovisuels to cooperate with one of today’s most prolific and creative independent production companies. It will give us prior access to high-level projects for the ever-expanding French-speaking market. It is a new step in our strategy to add premium programming to our portfolio.”
