eOne Notches Up TV-Movie Deals

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO: Entertainment One (eOne) has clinched deals with True Movies in the U.K. and V Tele in French Canada for several of its TV movies, including When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story.

In addition to When Love is Not Enough, the British channel True Movies also scored the free- and pay-TV rights to Celine, The Exonerated, Man in the Mirror, Shania, Society’s Child and Torso. V Tele, meanwhile, also took the free-TV rights to Goodnight For Justice, One Angry Juror, Living Out Loud, Soccer Mom, Mail Order Bride and Wedding Wish for French Canada.

This latest round of post-MIPTV deals follows eOne selling The Walking Dead to Finland’s Oy; The Firm to Belgium’s Telenet; Re-Genesis to Turkey’s D-Smart and Outlaw Bikers to MTV3 in Finland, among other agreements.
