LOS ANGELES/LONDON: Entertainment One (eOne) Licensing has announced a number of international retail programs for some of its biggest brands, including the launch of Peppa Pig construction toys across various territories next year.

The new construction range will be based on a “World of Peppa Pig” theme and is due to include eight new product lines made up of elements from the hit preschool TV show, including the Peppa Pig family house and car. Character Options will manage distribution in the U.K., while Big Balloon and Planet Fun have been named official distributors for Australia and New Zealand, respectively.

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Character Options,” said Hannah Mungo, the head of U.K. licensing for eOne. “Over the course of our 11-year relationship they have proven themselves to be a visionary partner who have been absolutely integral to the success of the consumer products program. Character’s innate understanding of the Peppa Pig brand and its dedication to creativity and quality will ensure the success of the new construction toys when they launch early next year.”

In addition, the company is planning a summer U.S. launch for an eco-friendly cosmetics line inspired by SO SO Happy. Kelly Teegarden Organics will collaborate on the lineup, which is slated to feature lipsticks, glosses, lip treatments and balms manufactured in the U.S. with certified organic and natural, non-GMO ingredients.

Also being released in the U.S. this summer is a retail program for the teen brand Skelanimals at Hot Topics nationwide. A collection of bags, wallets, jewelry and plush from legacy licensees Lounge Fly and Toynami is due to roll out the third week of July, timed to coincide with the debut of a YouTube animated series also based on the brand.
