New ITVS GE Hire to Expand Kids’ Brands in Gaming Space

LONDON: ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has appointed David Miller to the newly created role of VP of digital games, tasked with expanding the reach of ITVS GE’s children’s brands in the digital games marketplace.

Miller will be reporting to Steve Green, the executive VP of kids’ content and distribution. He will be looking to expand ITVS GE’s network by evaluating opportunities and reaching out to new partners, with the aim of developing games across a range of platforms. This remit will have a particular focus on the recently launched Thunderbirds Are Go property.

Green said: “David has vast experience of games development, marketing and distribution across all areas of the global digital games market. This is a critical sector for Thunderbirds Are Go and David’s expertise will prove essential as we look to establish relationships in non-linear content and gaming.”

Miller added: “It feels like quite an honor to be charged with bringing incredible properties like Thunderbirds Are Go to the games universe. I'm looking forward to working with talented developers that share the passion for this beloved show and I am delighted to be joining ITVS GE as it goes from strength to strength as a distributor of premium content.”
