TORONTO/LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has hired Michael Kot as its new senior VP of factual entertainment within its television division, joining from a role as VP of original factual content for Canwest channels.

Kot will report to Laszlo Barna, the president of eOne Television. He is responsible for all original factual programming for the company. Some of eOne’s most recent productions include Outlaw Bikers (History); Party Mamas (Slice); Underworld Gangs (History in Canada; National Geographic in the U.S.) and Revamped (Slice).
