Endemol USA Lines Up New Web Series

LOS ANGELES: Endemol USA is producing an interactive lifestyle series targeted to women for the online destination SheKnows.com.

The series will show women how to save money, live better and thrive in today’s economy. SheKnows and Endemol USA are seeking out female-targeted brand sponsors for the series/ SheKnows reaches a community of more than 45 million women worldwide.

Endemol USA’s web credits include Married on MySpace and CouponMom. “The unprecedented success and high audience engagement with CouponMom led us to pursue this opportunity with SheKnows to develop new content for a similar audience,” said David Armour, VP of digital development at Endemol USA. “Our recent projects have proven there is a huge market for engaging, original multi-platform content that speaks to both audiences and brand sponsors alike.”

This is not the first original content initiative for SheKnows, which has created 15 different series and has another four in production. "Video has become an increasingly important part of the SheKnows content offering and we are highly focused on producing original programming that speaks to women in a way that is authentic and right for the web,” stated Mike Dodge, executive VP of AtomicOnline, owner of SheKnows and the publishing entity of parent company Evolve Media Corp. “We evaluated a number of offline partners and Endemol had a vast amount of experience and understanding of how to execute successful online video series. This is hopefully one of many projects we embark on together as partners."
