Endemol Unveils Diverse Slate

HILVERSUM: Among the highlights in Endemol’s stable of offerings for international buyers are Wreckreation Nation and Personal Justice.

Wreckreation Nation sees U.S. comic David Mordel travel the nation in search of bizarre hometown traditions and wacky pastimes. Personal Justice, meanwhile, features ordinary people revealing their extraordinary personal journeys to find the truth behind violent crimes committed against loved ones.

Two hit shows from Endemol’s U.S. affiliate 51 Minds Entertainment will also launch at MIPTV. For the Love of Ray J watches singer/songwriter/actor/Hollywood bad boy Ray J look for the perfect mate. Daisy of Love sees Rock of Love 2 runner-up Daisy De La Hoya taking her chance to look for love.

Also making their first MIPTV debut are two series from Endemol UK. Extreme Male Beauty is four-part entertainment show that follows one man each week as he’s transformed from a slob into a hunk. The series will make its debut on Channel 4 in May. Rehab is a new series that charts the journeys of seven addicts as they try to battle their destructive lifestyles.

Other shows in this year’s program lineup for MIPTV are Gok’s Fashion Fix, Supersize vs. Superskinny and Coleen’s Real Women, all of which have been commissioned for a second run in the U.K.

Tom Toumazis, the chief commercial officer of Endemol Group, commented: "This is a rich and diverse line up of factual, reality and entertainment series from two of the world’s biggest TV markets. Those that have already gone to air are proven hits in their home territories and all are the kinds of shows that will appeal to audiences anywhere in the world."
