Endemol Shine Group and zone·tv have signed a content licensing agreement that will see the SVOD pick up a wide range of new content, including Mr. Bean.

The content will air on zone·tv’s multichannel video service, zone·ify. As part of the deal, Australian children’s series Bananas in Pyjamas will also air on the platform, as will new digital-first short-form content covering cooking, e-sports and fashion.

Zone·ify is comprised of 13 linear, genre-focused channels that provide viewers with curated content on various subjects, including sports, cooking, kids, lifestyle, gaming and news. As the viewer watches content, zone·ify reprograms to reflect the viewer’s thematic choices in order to create personalized linear channels for each individual. It currently has over 8,000 hours of content in its library.

“Zone·tv is committed to bringing a wide range of high-quality programming to the zone·ify 13-channel bundle,” said Jeff Weber, CEO of zone·tv. “We are thrilled to be in business with a company with the incredible production track record of Endemol Shine Group. Their content will greatly bolster a variety of zone·ify’s dynamic channels, such as Foodies, Playground and Game-on. Great content from partners like Endemol Shine Group, combined with leading technology to deliver personalized channels from zone·tv, make for a breakthrough consumer experience.”

Wim Ponnet, chief strategy and commercial officer at Endemol Shine Group, added: “We have a deep library of world-class shows that are continuing to find and entertain new audiences across a number of platforms. With their innovative offering, zone·tv’s curated channels will be a great home for a number of our brands as we continue to drive their multiplatform growth.”
