Endemol Scores Spanish Mobile Deal

HILVERSUM, December 5: Endemol International has announced a
deal with the Spanish mobile phone operator Movistar for the latest edition of
its interactive made-for-mobile reality TV format Get Close To…

The British version, Get Close To…The Sugababes, earlier this year debuted at the top of the O2
video portal download charts and then stayed in the top three for the remainder
of its six-week run.

The Spanish version of the show, Yo Melendi, is exclusive to the Movistar network. It will
follow Spanish pop star Melendi for six weeks, 24 hours a day. Customers will
be able to access the daily diaries free of charge by texting ALTAMELENDI to
404. Episodes can also be accessed the following day for one euro.
