LONDON: Endemol has named Martha Brass, formerly the managing director of international operations, as the group’s COO, among other changes to its senior management structure.

A new management committee has been appointed to focus on overseeing and supporting the day-to-day business. Brass is part of the management committee. She will continue to oversee emerging markets while taking on operational responsibility for additional territories, including Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe.

Edwin van Es, formerly the group financial director, is also on the new management committee, as CFO. He will oversee the group’s financial activities, including controlling, accounting, tax and treasury. Boudewijn Beusmans, the global head of legal and corporate security, will also join the committee.

Beusmans, Brass and van Es all continue to report to Just Spee, the CEO of Endemol.

Spee commented: “The new management committee brings together a team of people who are highly experienced and extremely effective in their respective fields. This new structure will help us to focus on the key strategic drivers of the business as we look to continue the growth and diversification Endemol achieved throughout 2012.”
