Electric Entertainment to Launch Upgraded ElectricNOW App

Electric Entertainment is set to launch an upgraded ElectricNOW, with new features and expanded content, on April 16.

This includes ElectricNOW’s very first original scripted series, The Poly Couple. Originally started as shorts on TikTok and YouTube, The Poly Couple looks at the complications of navigating love, life and relationships as a polyamorous couple in Los Angeles. Each episode exposes the jealousy, negotiations, awkward encounters and unexpected intimacy that occurs when loving more than one person.

The series stars and is written by Dana and Daniel (Dana and the Wolf).

“When I first saw their short videos, I was blown away by the uniqueness of their story, the insightful comedic take and terrific performances,” said Dean Devlin, executive producer of The Poly Couple and founder and CEO of Electric Entertainment. “I reached out to them and asked if they would be interested in turning this into a half-hour scripted show for ElectricNOW. It’s been a thrill working with Dana and Daniel bringing this project to life, and I can’t wait for audiences to discover this original and unique series.”

The newly remodeled app will also feature a LIVE Channels section, with more than 60 free channels, each strategically curated to energize the platform’s fan base while drawing in viewers looking for escapist entertainment and beloved cult classics.

The content lineup on ElectricNOW has also expanded with more movies and TV series, along with fresh seasons of Electric Entertainment shows that will make their debut on the app this year, including season one of The Librarians: The Next Chapter, season three of Leverage: Redemption and seasons one and two of The Ark.
