Eisner’s Multiplatform Series Scores Verizon Slots

BASKING RIDGE/BEVERLY HILLS, April 3: Prom Queen, the inaugural production from ex-Disney chief
Michael Eisner’s new digital studio Vuguru, will be carried on all of Verizon’s
platforms in the U.S., including mobile, online and pay TV.

Prom Queen, created
specifically for the wireless and broadband platforms, is now available on the
mobile content platform V CAST Video and will soon be delivered to the TV sets
of FiOS TV customers and to Verizon broadband customers. The scripted,
serialized mystery is told over 80 episodes, each running 90 seconds long, set
against the final two months of the school year.

"Prom Queen's
short-form episodes are designed to be easily viewed on multiple platforms and
are aimed at young, early adopters of new media content and technology,"
said Eisner. "With the series running on Verizon Wireless' V CAST Video
and Verizon's FiOS TV and the company's broadband services, we further empower
the audience by providing them the ability to watch Prom Queen whenever and wherever they want."
