DRTV Acquires Benjamin Bear

OTTAWA, January 8: Amberwood
Productions has licensed its hit animated series The Secret World of
Benjamin Bear to Denmark’s DRTV.

The Danish broadcaster licensed
all 39 half-hour episodes of the series, which was commissioned by Canada’s
Family Channel and has been licensed to more than 80 territories worldwide.

“The series continues to
generate meaningful sales across Scandinavia and worldwide,” said Jonathan Wiseman,
the VP of sales and acquisitions at Amberwood. “We are delighted that Benjamin
Bear will be aired by our friends at DRTV.”
