WSN INC. Expands Marketing, Editorial Teams

NEW YORK, January 8: In preparation for a range of new print
and online services in the coming months, WSN INC., the publishing group behind
World Screen, has announced four new
hires and one promotion in its editorial and marketing teams.

Irene Lew and Aarti Jhaveri join as editorial assistants.
Working under Anna Carugati, the group editorial director, and Mansha Daswani,
the executive editor, Lew and Jhaveri will contribute to the online
publications World Screen Newsflash, World
Screen Weekly
and TV Kids Weekly, as well as to the company’s print magazines, led by
the flagship World Screen.

Jhaveri is a recent journalism and international relations
graduate from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public
Communications. She joins WSN INC. from an internship at New York City’s Gotham magazine. Born and raised in Kobe, Japan, Jhaveri is
fluent in English, Japanese and Gujarati.

Lew is a native New Yorker who joins WSN INC. after
completing the Helena Rubinstein editorial internship at Women’s eNews, a
nonprofit online news agency. She received her BA in English, with a minor in
journalism, at the State University of New York in Albany.

Also in the editorial department, Guillermo Chavez has been
promoted to executive editor of TV Latina and
associate editor of World Screen.
At TV Latina, Chavez reports to
Maria Teresa Alvarado, the editor of Spanish-language publications, and at World
Screen
he reports to Carugati. Chavez, who
joined WSN INC. in 2005, was previously associate editor of TV Latina and editorial assistant at World Screen.

Joining the marketing team as sales and marketing assistant
is Kamila Czoch. Working with sales and marketing manager Martha Canseco and
publisher Ricardo Guise, Czoch will liaise with advertisers and help promote
WSN INC.’s print and online activities. She received a BA in English literature
from NYU and is currently a candidate for an MA in publishing. She is a former
WSN INC. intern. Czoch is fluent in English and Polish.

Malgorzata Drozniak, as administrative assistant, will aid
the day-to-day operations of WSN INC. She has a bachelor’s degree in media
studies from Hunter College in New York. Drozniak is fluent in English and
Polish.
