Driver Dan’s Story Train Gets New Licensing Partners

LONDON: Two new licensees have signed up for Driver Dan’s Story Train, with the deals inked by Aoh!K Commercial, the U.K. representative of brand owner twofour54.

Ravensburger has picked up the U.K. rights to produce puzzles and non-electronic board games based on the show. Ravensburger will look to launch the Driver Dan’s items in late 2011, and also has an eye toward extending its distribution into other key territories over time. TDP Aykroyds is on board for the U.K. rights for sleepwear and underwear.

The preschool series Driver Dan’s Story Train is currently in production for a second season, through a re-commission from CBeebies. 3Line Media in the U.K. and twofour54 partner Blink Studios in Abu Dhabi are producing the 50 new 10-minute episodes and half-hour special.
