Drama, Variety, Comedy Geminis Presented

TORONTO, October 19: The annual Gemini Awards concluded last
night with the drama, variety and comedy awards presentation, with Hunt for
Justice: The Louise Arbour Story
from
Galafilm taking the best TV movie category.

For best music, variety program or series, the winner was Songwriters'
Circle
from CBC Television. For best
performance in a guest role dramatic series, the winners were Maury Chaykin and
Linda Kash for At the Hotel. In
the featured supporting category for dramatic program or mini-series, the
winners were Judah Katz for Canada Russia '72 and Lushin Dubey for Murder Unveiled. In the dramatic series category the performance
nods went to Paul Soles for Terminal City and Susan Coyne for Slings & Arrows. Mark McKinney from Robson Arms won for best individual performance in a comedy
program or series.
