DQ Inks Asian Deal on Iron Man

HYDERABAD: DQ Entertainment has licensed the Marvel Animation and Method Animation co-production Iron Man to Turner Entertainment Networks Asia (TENA) for broadcast on Cartoon Network across South Asia and Southeast Asia, beginning 2010.

The show delivers a new animated spin for the superhero, which has some 450 comic books and a feature film to his credit. "Iron Man is another fantastic property that is joining the ranks of such powerful shows as Cartoon Network’s own Ben 10 and along with other titles from the Marvel universe," said Mark Eyers, the VP of content at TENA. “Not only is Cartoon Network number one with kids across Asia Pacific and is currently seen in nearly 60 million cable homes in the region, deals like this prove we are also the number one destination for distributors.”
