Distraction Showcasing Gemini Award-Nominated Formats at DISCOP

MONTREAL, June 19:
Distraction is at DISCOP with a catalogue of comedy, game-show and talk-show
formats, seven of which are nominated for a total of 23 Gemini Awards.

The scripted comedy format
All About Me, which centers on
the lives of three aspiring actors and real-life friends, is on offer from
Distraction. The show has been nominated for a total of six Gemini Awards, and
was recently renewed for a third season. Also with six nominations, Sins of
Love is a comedy that originally
aired on TVA, achieving an average market share of 37 percent in its debut
season.

Talk of the Town, a talk show that features top names in politics,
celebrity, theater, music and television, is also among the Gemini nominees,
and is on offer for buyers at the market in Budapest. Other Gemini
Award-nominated formats available to buyers at DISCOP are the game show Trade
Up and the green reality series How
Clean is Your Planet?.
