Distraction Scores Deals for Ciao Darwin

MONTREAL, February 29:
Distraction has secured two major deals for its entertainment game-show format Ciao
Darwin
: ABC Studios in the U.S.
and Endemol in France.

The format has already
been signed in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Canada, Vietnam, Italy and Greece,
with a deal in Australia still in the works.

Ciao Darwin involves 50 contestants split into common
stereotypes—such as blondes and brunettes, old and young—and led by
a celebrity captain, they compete against each other to determine the winning
formula for natural selection. The entertainment game show defines the term,
“the survival of the fittest.”

Distraction’s CEO, commented: “We’ve had Ciao Darwin in our catalogue for five years and its rise to
international success has been gradual, but now we are seeing it reach its true
potential and we can foresee a bright future for this format.”
