Distraction Format Re-Upped for Third Season

MONTREAL, March 14: In
advance of its launch on the international market at MIPTV, Distraction’s
scripted comedy format All About Me
has been renewed for a third season in Canada.

All About Me is a comedy series that combines fiction with
reality. The show is based on the actual personalities and lives of three
actors and real-life friends who share in each other’s amorous adventures and
professional struggles. The twist in All About Me is that the actors participate as themselves,
while also playing their own characters.

Distraction will soon
launch another recent scripted-format acquisition, Taglia & Cuci. Set to air in Italy in the fall, Taglia &
Cuci
is a parody of a hit U.S.
series.

Additionally, the scripted
format The Invincibles has been
renewed for a third season. Also on offer from Distraction are the scripted
comedies Love Bugs, Lady
Kracher
and Sins of Love, as well as Serial Frank, which is in full development for a fall 2008 slot
in the U.S. at NBC Universal.

Michel Rodrigue, the president of Distraction, commented: “I’m excited to add All
About Me
to our rich catalogue of
scripted formats. It’s a high-concept scripted comedy fitting in very well in
the wake of our current and previous successes, such as Serial Frank, The Invincibles, Love Bugs, Lady Kracher and Sins
of Love
.”
