Distraction Acquires Peace Arch’s Entire Format Catalogue

Distraction has secured Peace Arch Entertainment’s entire format catalogue for
international distribution, including the weight-loss format The Last 10
Pounds Bootcamp
.

Peace Arch’s The Last
10 Pounds Bootcamp
is a
weight-loss format in which women undergo an intense fitness and nutrition
regimen in an attempt to transform themselves physically and mentally in just
four weeks. Having premiered on Slice Network, a second season of The Last
10 Pounds Bootcamp
is due to be
broadcast later this fall. Other weight-loss formats include Bulging Brides, which will be launching in January 2008. Bulging
Brides
helps brides-to-be get into
a wedding dress that is too small. The catalogue also includes formats like Love
It or Lose It
, a part interior
design, part game show from Peace Arch Television. The show is currently airing
in Canada alongside British design shows on BBC Canada. Love It or Lose It gives homeowners the opportunity to offer up a
room in their home for a big-budget makeover. Meanwhile, in the format Makeover
Wish
, homeowners will receive the
chance to have a makeover worth $25,000.
