Disney Slates New Original Movie for 2011 Premiere

BURBANK: Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, centered on the character made popular by Ashley Tisdale in the High School Musical franchise, is a new Disney Channel original movie slated to begin production this summer for a 2011 premiere.

Tisdale will also serve as an executive producer on the movie, alongside Barry Rosenbush and Bill Borden (both of the High School Musical movies). Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure follows aspiring thespian Sharpay Evans as she looks for Broadway fame.
