Disney Rolls Out U.K. HD Channel

LONDON, November 20: Next month, Disney Cinemagic will become the
first high-definition Disney-branded channel in the U.K., when it launches on
the Sky+HD service.

Disney Cinemagic is a premium destination for Disney and
Disney/Pixar animated movies, classic Disney features and series. It launched
on Sky in 2006. The HD lineup includes the British television premieres of Ratatouille and Tinkerbell. Highlights for 2009 include Sleeping Beauty and The
Incredibles
.

Michael Cairns, the general manager of Disney Cinemagic U.K. and
Ireland, commented: "We're delighted to launch our first high-definition
channel in the U.K. and Disney Cinemagic's focus on movies made it the ideal
choice for the HD format. This deal with Sky underlines our commitment to using
cutting-edge technology to help create and distribute outstanding content and
the HD format is set to add a new dimension to family's enjoyment of Disney
animated movies."
