Disney Preps Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure

BURBANK: Production is under way on the Disney Channel original movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, with Ashley Tisdale starring in the role she made popular in the High School Musical franchise.

Directed by Michael Lembeck (Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause 2), Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is slated for a 2011 premiere on Disney Channel. Tisdale reprises her role as the drama queen Sharpay Evans. In the movie, she heads to New York to fulfill her dream of performing on Broadway.

Also starring in the movie are Austin Butler (Life Unexpected) and Bradley Steven Perry (Good Luck Charlie).
