Disney Junior in Asia Secures Rob the Robot

OTTAWA/SINGAPORE: The CG animated series Rob the Robot has been picked up by Disney Channels Southeast Asia following a broadcast deal with co-producers Singapore’s ONE Animation and Amberwood Entertainment in Canada.

Rob the Robot will air throughout the region on Disney Junior. The series’ first season is also airing on TVO Kids in Canada and it is to air in the French language on Société Radio-Canada this fall. The second season is currently in production. Rob the Robot features the adventures of Rob and his friends as they explore the Robot Galaxy.

“We are thrilled to be in business with Disney,” said Jonathan Wiseman, the senior VP at Amberwood Entertainment. “Rob the Robot is a strong performer in Canada and we expect these results to continue throughout Asia.”
