Disney Channel Presents Hannah Montana Concert in 3-D

BURBANK, June
17: Disney Channel in the U.S. will premiere Walt Disney Pictures' Hannah
Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert
in 3-D on Saturday, July 26, at 8 p.m.

Fifteen-year-old
Cyrus completed a sold-out 70-date concert tour in February. Walt Disney
Pictures presented the 3-D theatrical release of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus:
The Best of Both Worlds Concert
in February. Opening in 683 theaters, the movie grossed more than
$65 million at the box office during its limited U.S. engagement. The cast of
the Hannah Montana TV
series is now filming Hannah Montana: The Movie, a feature film from Walt Disney
Studios, in Nashville. It is due for release in summer 2009.

The television
debut of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert will be preceded by a marathon of Hannah
Montana
episodes from
2 to 8 p.m. on July 26 and a week of rock star-themed storylines each night at
9 p.m., with a new episode premiering Sunday, July 20, at 8 p.m. In the new
episode, titled "Hannah in the Street with Diamonds," Miley Stewart
is thrilled when Hannah is scheduled to receive a diamond on the walk of fame,
until its prime location is secretly downgraded at the last minute in favor of
a spot for the famous puppet Pancake Buffalo. Miley and her friends Lilly and
Oliver concoct a plan to expose the deception to the president of the parade of
diamonds committee.

Complimentary
3-D glasses will be available in the back-to-school displays at Wal-Mart stores
beginning Saturday, July 5, while supplies last.

Last year the
triple-platinum Hannah Montana soundtrack became the first-ever TV soundtrack to debut at number
one on the Billboard Top 200. Cyrus followed that album with the two-disc set Hannah
Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus
, which also reached the top spot on the Billboard Top 200,
earning double-platinum status and making her the youngest artist to have two
number one albums in less than a year. Her next album, Breakout, will be released July 22.
