Discovery Channel Gets New Look in Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE: Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) is launching a new on-air look across 34 countries in the region beginning October 17.

Discovery Channel’s new look will premiere in India on October 17, followed by the rest of the region on October 30. The channel’s signature globe icon is now merged with the “D” in Discovery. There will be brand new spots featuring Bear Grylls, Mike Rowe, the Mythbusters and Jeremy Wade. Along with the new look, the channel’s lineup will include new shows including Curiosity, a series that dives into questions posed by well-known personalities like Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson and Eli Roth.
