DIC Appoints Former Governor to Board of Directors

BURBANK, April 24: DIC
Entertainment has appointed Gray Davis, former Governor of California, as a
non-executive director on its Board of Directors.

The announcement was made by Andy
Heyward, the chairman and CEO of DIC. Governor Davis joins other veteran media
executives on the Board that include Christopher McGurk, the CEO of the Liberty
Media-owned Overture Films; Michael Jackson, the president of programming for
Barry Diller's IAC/InterActiveCorp; Simon Olswang, who founded the specialist
law firm Olswang; and Peter Strauss, the executive VP of Mandalay Pictures and
the chairman of LG Pictures.

Davis served as Governor of
California from 1998-2003. During his tenure, Davis made record investments in
public education, healthcare and California’s infrastructure. He presided over
an economic expansion that secured California’s position as the sixth largest
economy in the world. He has also held other high-level public service
positions in California that included Lieutenant Governor (1995-1998),
Controller (1987-1995) and State Assemblyman (1982-1986).
