DECODE Scores Deals for Halifax Series

TORONTO/LONDON, August 27:
DECODE Enterprises has completed several international sales for Halifax Film’s
preschool series Bo on the GO!, which
has been commissioned for a third season by CBC in Canada.

Rai Sat has picked up
season one, while Disney Channel Spain purchased season two of the show.
MNET/KTV in South Africa and TG4 have taken TV rights for both seasons, and
Prava I Prevodi has acquired home video and broadcast rights for seasons one
and two in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.

These deals follow the
sale of both seasons to France 5, Cartoon Network in India, Taiwan and the
Philippines, DIGITURK JOJO, Arabic-language Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, YLE in Finland and KidsTalkTalk in Korea.

Bo on the GO! follows the adventures of Bo, an energetic and
inquisitive young heroine and her friend Dezadore dragon. Dezzy encourages
children at home to go on amazing adventures by actively joining her in a
variety of movements that assist her on her quest.

DECODE Enterprises
represents all television and home-video rights to Bo on the GO! Halifax Film is a production subsidiary of DHX
Media.

Josh Scherba, the director
of sales at DECODE, said: “Bo on the GO! is proving very popular with broadcasters looking for strong
preschool programming with a get up and go message and we will be looking to
score further sales for the series, including the new episodes at MIPCOM.”
