LOS ANGELES: Debmar-Mercury has appointed Darren Doyle and Jim Kramer to senior VPs of sales, with Doyle representing the company on the U.S.’s West Coast and Kramer taking the East Coast.

Both Doyle and Kramer were key to launching The Wendy Williams Show, House of Payne, Meet the Browns and the upcoming The Jeremy Kyle Show. Kramer has served as VP of sales for Debmar-Mercury since 2006; while a division manager for King World Productions, he negotiated long-term renewals for The Oprah Winfrey Show, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!. Before joining Debmar-Mercury in 2007 as VP of sales, Doyle was a VP at CBS Paramount Television, where he secured long-term deals for Entertainment Tonight, Judge Judy and Frasier.

Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus, the co-presidents of Debmar-Mercury, said of the appointments: “These promotions recognize the key roles Jim and Darren have played over the past several years in our rapid growth. Their insight and experience will be vital to our continued expansion and the future of this company.”
