Dean Possenniskie Takes MD Role at AETN

NEW YORK/LONDON: Dean Possenniskie has been named managing director for Europe at A&E Television Networks (AETN), taking up the role in the second half of this year.

He will be responsible for overseeing and growing the company’s interests in channels, content, distribution and digital activities within the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Based in London, Possenniskie will report to Sean Cohan, the senior VP of international for AETN. He joins from BBC Worldwide, where he has served as senior VP and general manager for channels across EMEA. He was formerly the general manager and VP at MTV Networks International, working within the emerging markets group.

Dean will play a critical leadership role in helping drive further expansion and diversification throughout EMEA during our next phase of growth.”
