Dana Walden, Jeff Zucker Among Keshet’s INTV 2017 Speakers

JERUSALEM: The fourth edition of Keshet’s Innovative TV Conference (INTV) will feature a speaker lineup that includes CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker and Fox Television Group Co-Chairman and CEO Dana Walden, among others.

Additional speakers who have signed on to participate in the event, which will take place in Jerusalem on March 6 and 7, are NBC Entertainment’s president, Jennifer Salke; Channel 4’s chief executive, David Abraham; and McCann Worldgroup’s chairman and CEO, Harris Diamond.

The two-day event is hosted by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Keshet Media Group. The focus will be key topics facing the industry, including where the art of entertainment, news and storytelling is headed, whether TV is plotting its comeback and are we on the verge of a format revolution. CNN’s Zucker will be asked to discuss politics, news and elections in an era of fake news, while others will weigh in on how to get a merger done in the current TV environment, among other relevant topics, such as new VOD platforms, VR and gaming.

In addition, Fox 21’s president, Bert Salke; HBO’s miniseries and Cinemax programming president, Kary Antholis; Hulu’s head of content, Craig Erwich; ITV’s head of comedy entertainment, Peter Davey; Keshet Studios’ scripted president, Peter Traugott, and executive VP, Rachel Kaplan; producer Michael Lombardo; writer-producer Howard Gordon; Cheddar’s Jon Steinberg; and WME TV’s head Rick Rosen, and scripted TV partner Marc Korman will all be at INTV. Other participants include award-winning writer-producer Frank Spotnitz; McCann NY’s senior VP/senior creative director, Alon Seifert; Benny Arbel, CEO and co-founder of Inception; VR director-producer Drew Arnold; Shaul Olmert, CEO and co-founder of Playbuzz; director-producer Ariel Vromen; writer-producer Tami Sagher; and writer Max Pross.

INTV will also conduct a special breakout session with merchant bank The Raine Group. INTV ’17 will be held in cooperation with the Jerusalem Film and Television Fund at the Jerusalem Development Authority.
