Crime Fare on Offer from Parthenon

LONDON, October 20:
Through its deal with Story House Productions, Parthenon has added two crime
titles to its catalogue: Real Interrogations and The Real NCIS.

Real Interrogations looks at real criminals and the interrogators who
try to break them. The series takes viewers inside cross-examination rooms to
show the exchanges that take place in real-life crime cases, using actual
footage, re-enactments and interviews. The Real NCIS follows detectives who investigate crimes committed
within the U.S. Navy. The series features “who done it” storytelling combined
with forensic investigations, all focused on Navy and marine bases and ships.

Another new series from
Story House is Judgement Day,
which looks at how the 24 hours of sentencing day in capital crime trials
affect the case. The 13×1-hour series is shot in a documentary style, following
both sides until their final meeting. Parthenon also represents Story House’s
one-hour special Attack of Terror,
which examines the world of terrorism and the tools with which attacks are
implemented.

Peter Pas, Parthenon’s
commercial director of factual, commented, “We are delighted to be working with
Story House Productions. They have an excellent slate of work—their
storytelling and visual style are exemplary. We were very keen to get into the
world of crime shows and we hope to continue the relationship with them long
into the future. Sex sells, but Parthenon will make crime pay!”

Carsten Oblaender, the
president of Story House Productions, added, “Parthenon is the perfect
distribution partner for us for these films, we have been impressed by their
reputation, their track record and their team. We like the dedication that
Parthenon brings to the table when it comes to selling individual shows. It
makes all the difference and we are pleased to be able to work closely with
them through MIPCOM and beyond.”
