Cookie Jar Names Development, Sales SVP

LOS ANGELES, February 8: Cookie Jar Entertainment has
appointed Ann Austen as the senior VP of development and television/video
sales.

In her new position, Austen will be responsible for
developing Cookie Jar’s original properties and for television/video sales
within the U.S., reporting to Toper Taylor, the president and COO of Cookie Jar
Entertainment. She joins Cookie Jar with more than 15 years of experience,
having worked on shows such as Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and the Humanitas-nominated Johnny
Tsunami. She began her career at FOX and
thereafter spent time at the Fox Kids Network and Saban Entertainment before
going on to co-executive produce the NBC teen series SK8. She has written and produced numerous movies of the
week for the Disney Channel. Most recently, she developed properties for
Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and The N.
