Comedy Central Preps Fantasy-Comedy Series

NEW YORK, October 16: Krod
Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Life,
Comedy Central’s first foray into fantasy-comedy, will be headlined by an
ensemble cast that includes Matt Lucas (Little Britain) and Sean Maguire (Meet the Spartans).

Joining Lucas and Maguire
are India de Beaufort (Run, Fatboy, Run), Steve Speirs (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest), Kevin Hart (Fool’s Gold), John Rhys-Davies (The Lord of the Rings), James Murray (Primeval) and Marques Ray Mascarinas (Nick Cannon
Presents: Wild ‘N Out).

The series is currently in
production in Budapest, Hungary, and is set to premiere in spring 2009.
