Comedy Central Exec Upped in Public Responsibility Role

NEW YORK, August 15: Kelleigh Dulany has been promoted to VP
of public responsibility for MTV Networks Entertainment Group’s Comedy Central
and Spike TV, based in New York.

In her new position, where she will report to COO John
Cucci, Dulany will be responsible for spearheading pro-social and diversity
initiatives for both networks, including addressing socially relevant concerns
through PSAs, digital media, grass roots and philanthropic outreach. For
example, Spike TV’s True Dads initiative is designed to encourage responsible
fathering and improved parenting skills. And Comedy Central has recently
announced its pro-social program, Address the Mess, which is geared towards
reducing waste and reviving the planet.

To further both networks’ commitment to diversity and
inclusion, Dulany will also manage the Comedy Central Summer School, which
targets young comedy writers of color, as well as the Posse Scholar program,
which works in partnership with the national Posse organization in providing a
diverse group of college students internship opportunities in the television
industry.

Dulany was most recently the VP of promotion marketing at
Comedy Central. She joined the channel in 2000 after a stint at Discovery
Networks.
