CME Posts Increases in Revenues, EBITDA

HAMILTON, November 1: Third-quarter
net revenues were up 55 percent to $174.8 million at Central European Media
Enterprises (CME), which posted an operating income of $35 million and an
EBITDA of $64.2 million, a 147-percent gain.

In the quarter, TV Nova in the
Czech Republic was the company’s biggest revenue earner, with $51.1 million, a
27-percent gain. The broadcasting operations in Romania brought in $44.4
million, a 52-percent increase. Studio 1+1 in Ukraine saw its revenues more
than double to $39.6 million, while Kino and CITI in Ukraine experienced a
four-fold increase to $816,000. Slovak Republic’s Markiza TV posted revenues of
$20.3 million, a 46-percent increase. In Slovenia, where CME operates Pop TV
and Kanal A, revenues were up 27 percent to $11.5 million. And Nova TV in
Croatia posted revenues of $7.05 million, reflecting a 64-percent gain.

For the nine months ending
September 30, 2007, CME’s revenues increased 39 percent to $539 million,
delivering a profit of $15.6 million; in the same period last year, CME
recorded a loss of $5.8 million.
