Clear Channel TV Chief Steps Down

SAN ANTONIO, January 3: Donald Perry, the president and CEO
of Clear Channel Television (CCTV), will leave his post, with Craig Millar, the
senior VP of the southern region, taking up responsibilities on an interim
basis.

Perry is leaving the company to “pursue the next phase of
his broadcast career,” the company said in a statement. Millar will step in
until a new president and CEO is named. Perry has held his current position
since January 2006, after having served previously as the executive VP and COO
of the division since 2005. He was the VP and general manager of Clear
Channel’s WOAI-TV in 1996, before taking up the role of southwest regional VP
for Clear Channel.

“Don has made significant contributions to Clear Channel, to
CCTV and to the television industry during his long tenure with our company,”
said Mark Mays, the president and CEO of Clear Channel Communications, to whom
Perry reports. “He’s a seasoned executive and we anticipate that his high
standards and professionalism will ensure continued industry contributions. We
sincerely thank him and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
