Cineflix Studios Bolsters Scripted Push

LONDON: Cineflix Studios has hired Nick Witkowski, a founder of Alchemy, to work with the company in a consultant role on international financing and sales for scripted programming.

He reports to Glen Salzman, Cineflix’s CEO. Witkowski will be based in the company’s London offices and will be working with Christina Wayne, the president of Cineflix Studios, and the Cineflix team to complete the financing of its scripted slate through co-production, pre-sales and co-finance deals. He will also oversee the distribution and exploitation of completed scripted programming. Witkowski has more than 25 years of experience working in financing and distributing TV drama. At Alchemy he was responsible for financing more than $150 million of production and overseeing worldwide exploitation. He will continue to consult to DRG in his current role and oversee the exploitation of the Alchemy catalogue.

Salzman said: “Nick has vast experience in arranging and financing high end television drama. He’s the ideal person to work with Cineflix Studios to complete the financing on our dynamic slate of projects.”
