Cineflix Snags New Factual Series

LONDON: Cineflix International has acquired the 13×1-hour series Border Security USA, which aired in prime time on ABC in the U.S. as Homeland Security.

The original format, Border Security: Australia’s Front Line, is from Australia’s Seven Network. Other newly acquired programming for Cineflix includes season five of Animal House and season two and three of Animal Rescue. Also on the new acquisitions slate is the fourth season of Medical Emergency, the second season of Zoo Tales and the second and third seasons of Surf Patrol.

"To have both the original series which has been so successful and the U.S. network format of Border Security is a real coup," said Diane Rankin, the head of acquisitions for Cineflix International. "And I’m thrilled to be adding to our returning series as it puts us in a great position to offer the volume that so many International broadcasters are looking for."
