LONDON: Air Ways and Campus PD, two docusoaps from the Cineflix International lineup, have made their way across Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East.

The 8×30-minute series Air Ways features the staff and passengers of an Australian budget airline. The show has been picked up across the Nordic territories, with both seasons of the Seven Network Australia production acquired by Channel Four in Finland, TV Norge in Norway and Kanal 5 in Sweden. The series is also headed to the U.K., where it was scooped up by Virgin Media’s Living, along with sales to the Netherlands (SBS), Poland (Tele 5) and Kuwait (Vision Media Entertainment).

Campus PD, a 36×30-minute offering about student law enforcement, scored pickups in Australia from Fox’s Biography Channel and Seven Network. In North America, Rogers Broadcasting went for the first two seasons to bring the show to Canada, while G4 will be bringing all three seasons of the show to the U.S. The program landed a further deal in Norway, where Viasat Broadcasting picked it up for TV2.

Paul Heaney, the managing director of Cineflix, said: “The best docusoaps and ob docs open the door on a hidden world and reveal its secrets with the help of a convincing and entertaining narrative and a compelling cast of characters. This is what Air Ways and Campus PD deliver—and that they do it extremely well is reflected in the strength of these global sales.”
